New Year Retreat – January 1, 9 am to 3:30 pm
Are you ready to really start a new year? Well if you want to find out what you are capable of, and you want to get rid of the things that have held you back in the past then come spend the 1st with us.
Join Andrew and Karen as we take you through a day of practice, reflection and intention.
We start the day with an energizing and inspiring vinyasa flow class and spend the day exploring what it is we are really meant to do in this world and map out ways to get there!
A traditional new year’s day lunch is provided but feel free to bring your own snacks as well.
We want you to have the best year ever and offering this day to you for only 55.00!
PS, you can attend each section as well but why would you want to miss any of this! Drop in per section $20

The Schedule of the Day…Create your year with your whole body, mind & spirit!
9:00 am Energizing, Inspiring Vinyasa Flow Class – Andrew – a vinyasa class to lead you into clear thinking and energize your day to have it be the best start of the New Year!
10:30 am Clearing Yoga & Workshop – Karen – After an invigorating practice this one will be slower, gentler and involve poses and instruction to withdraw your senses ever more deeply to quiet the mind and clear your body to prepare you for a creative inquiry. We often create goals for our New Year without reflecting on whether or not your space is clear for this new creative goal. The class will end with an opportunity to find what is in your way or has been in the past, let it go and free you up for what’s next and new!
12:00 pm Community Pot Luck with Black-Eyed-Pea New Year Soup – Soup for the New Year retreat! If you can only stop by for a cup of soup, please do! This is a New Year tradition – black eyed pea soup eaten on New Years Day help us to have a prosperous New Year! Bring your own favorite healthy new year food to share! (free)
1:00 pm Goal Setting for the New Year – Andrew – Through a combination of movement, meditation, and journaling, you will be guided to unearth your greatest desires for the New Year and manifest them!
2:30 pm Restorative Yoga & Yoga Nidra – Karen – This class begins with restorative yoga to encourage a release of deep-rooted muscular tension, stress and tightness. Your body will be supported with props including bolsters, blankets and blocks to invite your body to experience a deeper state of relaxation to replenish the body’s energy, leaving you feeling nourished, calm and ready for Yoga Nidra.
Yoga Nidra (also know as “yogic sleep”) will offer deep relaxation for your body, mind and emotions; while helping to dissolve old patterns and remove obstacles. A fitting ending for our New Year Retreat to allow you to absorb and integrate your new clear intentions to be ready for a great 2019.
