Yoga is an experience – it is difficult to teach – Each person comes to the practice of yoga on their own terms. It starts out as a honeymoon, falling in love with the physical properties and the ambiance of their particular place of practice whether they are introduced through a video, studio or study with a teacher of choice. It can take many years of dedicated practice to truly understand the teachings, for they are taught from within only after the student can surrender to the breath and let go of the ego. The teacher becomes a bridge of support through that process.
What I share with students is my knowledge, energy and guidance – through my own years of study, practice and experience. My personal yoga journey led me to many styles and many teachers over the years – My focused study has been in Ashtanga, Tantra and Ayurveda. My passion for teaching is to help students understand all of yoga’s transformative gifts.
